DIY Charcoal Toothpaste

1 min read

Everything in this jar came straight from my kitchen. I got tired of guessing what was in my toothpaste, so I started making my own. Here is exactly what I use.

Ingredients

I use Young Living essential oils. Use my member number 11737064 to get the discount.

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the baking soda, bentonite clay, and activated charcoal.

  2. Add the coconut oil and aloe vera gel. No need to melt the oil first, it melts on its own as you stir everything together. Stir until it forms a smooth paste.

  3. Add 3 to 5 drops of each essential oil and mix well.

  4. Scoop into a small glass jar with a lid.

A quick note from me:

This is what I personally use. I use 3 to 5 drops of each oil, but the safe amount for oral use has not been established. I'm sharing my recipe, not giving health advice. If you have

questions about what's right for your teeth, check with your dentist.
