From Da Ground Up Productions has always been about creating opportunities, telling stories, and giving people a platform to be seen and heard.
Many of you already know us from our podcasting, interviews, creator spotlights, artist support, red carpet coverage, event recaps, and community conversations. But now… we’re expanding.
HOOD PAIN 🎥♟️ marks our very first short film and honestly, what started as an idea turned into something much bigger than we expected.
This project brought together an amazing cast including Shawn Cheatham Jr. (Malik), Jennifer (Tasha), New Lewi, and many others who dedicated their time, energy, and passion to help bring this vision to life.
This wasn’t Hollywood.
This was people believing in a vision.
This was actors getting credits, creators stepping outside their comfort zones, first-time experiences, long nights, problem solving, laughter, learning, and building something together.
And we’re not stopping here.
As From Da Ground Up Productions continues to grow, we’re expanding further into film, reality television, and larger productions while continuing to provide opportunities for creators, artists, actors, entrepreneurs, and storytellers.
The goal is simple:
Keep building.
Keep creating.
Keep opening doors.
Keep going From Da Ground Up.
